www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/235984/ford_capri_coming_at_last.htmlnot being funny but this really has earnt the name of the Crapi.... Looks exactly the same as the Fiesta, KA, Focus..... *yawn* nice to see the ford designers being different but staying truthful to the original design!!!! Lol! Place bets on what their going to ruin next... Or what you would love to see come back.... Hope Not::::Any other classic ford... not being funny but if they can screw up the Capri that bad imagine the clone they could make and then name it the model t.... Want:::::I bet the Japs could do a real number on the 6r4 ;D (if you squint its just a squished up skyline with a bodykit) or I bet the Renault 5 Turbo could in theory be redone to look fantastic once more although its doubtful, they class this as 'cool and sporty': (yes, that is just a megane wearing clown shoes... ) The futures gunna suck............

I agree with you mate, the amount of nice new cars coming through now is rare unless your talking about super cars but thats a totally different story aint it. shame really.

I agree that the new "capri" is horrendous. However not all classics that have been renewed are bad. Particularly what the americans are doing with the old muscle cars! Or the new Scirocco? Fiat 500? The new megane atleast looks nice so I imagine a sporty one of those would be nice, and check out the Twingo RenaultSport 133. Also they are bringing back the Alpine name, so watch out for them too Another redesign I almost forgot about Although, that's a little unfair as Opel/Vauxhall didn't design it. Unbelievably it was Saturn from America! I agree that almost all the fords out at the moment are dreary though, that is spot on. There's so much for brand recognition and giving it a "face" but the models need to stand out from eachother too. Aston Martin suffer from this too, although.. they are drop dead gorgeous. As do Porsche. Sadly Volkswagen are too, which means the Scirocco above will stop standing out quite so much soon I do believe there are some car companies still designing stunning cars that aren't supercars though! I'll stop now... Let's hope that Ford cancel that Capri!!
