Had myself an enjoyable day joining Stevie on his R.N.L.I. charity run today..
I joined them just outside Port Eynon where 4 other like minded Mini owners convoyed down to our first R.N.L.I. station at Horton.
Loads of narrow lanes were encountered on the way.
Perfect for Mini's.
Here's a pic of the cars outside the station.
After a welcome cup of tea made by the coxain it was on to the next station which was in Burry Port.
The launch vehicle in the background was made especially for that station, even to the point of being just the right height to fit in the garage with 20mm to spare.

Had a great run down to Tenby using the coast road through Laugharne, Pendine, Amroth Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot.
We couldn't get the cars down to the Station but were given permission to get the Minis within spitting distance.
3 down 1 to go.
Took the back road tp Pembroke via Penally and Lamphey then onto to Angle down increasingly narrowing lanes..
There was no one at home when we arrived so we took a few pics and beat a hasty retreat incase there was an emergency.
One of those LNG tankers was moored up, probably unloading.
It was blo**dy massive..
This is where we said our goodbyes.
2 of the lads stayed with Stevie and will be doing the Run tomorrow.
Great to meet up with 1964 Elf and the guys from Cardiff and M4 Mini clubs.
