i passed my test at around 11am on friday. the new throttle cable was put in kp on friday at around 2pm. i drive for an hour or so, my nerves subside and i start to enjoy....
then my car cuts out
first of all i thought i hadnt pulled the choke out enough and thought that i'd stalled but then in the middle of a road, 3rd gear, 30mph, the car goes quiet and has cut out again.
on the way to a quiet road to pull over, my car was lurching backwards and forwards and all over the shop....imagine me, bricking it, only been a legal driver for a few hours lol
turns out that i made a HUGE pool in the boot and on the road that consisted of the £20's worth of petrol that i JUST put into KP.
sender seal and ring thing broke and after dan and rhys (lucky there were two other minis with me) gaffa taped the leak up to slow it down, he drove back to his house and we had to call the fire brigade to dispose of the leaking petrol properly...
gutted to say the least, i had a weekend off where i thought i'd be enjoying myself driving round constantly...
ive been moping around and miserable ever since
but thanks to lawson and sebz providing and delivering parts, it should be back on the road tomorrow ;D
