Im after High temp paint in flourescent orange for my block, halfords sell the exact colour like in the photo but not in high temperature. Does anybody know where you can get it from or am i going to have to paint it silver Attachments:

You could try plasticoat and then put thier clear laquer on top

I've found the paint but cant find any lacquer, is it high temp clear lacquer ? i don't know what to search for lol

if your using plasticoat flourescent then any high temp laquer will do, if you are just using normal colour plasticoat then you wont need any

not sure on high temp paints but i just used hammerite on mine its heat resistant up to something like 300 degrees

That looks awesome i went for gold instead though, thanks for the help anyway guys. got down to the cleaning and prep work, dont think the engine has been cleaned in 30 years and is taking ages using degreaser. will post some pics once it's done, hope it looks cool

i use petrol, it works very well and is cheaper per ltr than degreaser
