I've just changed the headlight in JOC , switched it on, worked great for 10 secs then went all smikoey and blew Any suggestions before I start stripping the wiring down

Sorry for the delay replying,
Check for a frayed wire on the loom, cos cause it to blow..

;D Cheers Taff Got another strange one now, rear lights work on sidelights, but nothing when headlights are on They always worked before

check the instrument panel on dipped beam, if they don't work either then check the fuse box for lose connection. I once had a problem (while driving to town with a police car behind me...) where all of a sudden my instrument lights died (but my headlights were fine) and it turned out i lost all my rears as well. turned out to be a fuse! ;D

Cheers will do, I did check the fuses but didnt check the connections on the fuse box so will give that a go in the morning

I've seen your wiring before, have you tried turning the bathroom light on and then see if it works..

I tried that, it made my air horns do the theme tune to bargain hunt ;D
