have acenter speedo its silver ,ive seen black faced ones or even white facedones but never asilver faced one ,anyone know what its out of?

I think early Morris Minis (or was it Austin's?) came with silver speedometers? Dai will probably know.
But it certainly sounds like a Mini speedometer anyway.

My 61 Morris Mini has a silver faced Speedo and i think it has a clear needle. Morris Minors of that era also had silver faced speedos as far as i can remember, so Taffy is on the ball.  |

As an aside the early Morris Minor ones had gold faces. The later ones (like on my new car ;D) were black.
