Im with Footman & James on a classic policy.
Its good because its cheap. but it's bad because you dont gain any no-claims bonus's....

But do they insure you if you get your head stuck under the wheel arch though? Or do they just call around and laugh. ;D

Yes they'd probably cancel your policy for being so daft.

for an 18 year old, i found direct line was cheapest at 863 quid fully comp on my own name...none of the specialists insurers would touch me and if they would, it was a ridiculous price!

I am with adrian Flux, they are pretty good they have a Mini scheme and the quotes were brilliant. They even gave me a good price when I had my beetle when I was 18-19 always worth a quick phone call

we use sureterm as they were one of the only ones to quote as jb jnr is 20 . quote for myself fully comp but no no claims bonus every year was £70 ( 3000 miles/yr) with the wife it went up to 120, with jnr added they first said 700 but i haggled and got it down to 550 which i think is pretty good considering. only downside is i still haven`t got my policy they keep sending me cover notes every month and of course the true test of any insurer is when you have to claim. hopefully we won`t find out
