Half the keys on my laptop have packed in  Any help on how I get the keyboard out so I can replace it ? |

Check the connections, try putting it back in again before buying because you may have fixed a loose connection.

I did try cleaning it up and reconecting but no joy  Nothing to do with the half can of fosters that slipped last night of course ;D |

might be worth looking on the net for a donar lap top as we have done many times in the past as usually loads of different sellers selling ex company laptops with some kind of damage i.e screen etc + you got motherboard, battery etc etc etc extra as spares if it goes for a sensible price

More help needed  Is anyone local able to solder a new power jack onto a laptop motherboard ? Daughter has broken hers and i'm not confident enough with my soldering skills to do it myself, I have stripped it down ready. |

not local but if you can drop it upto us we will have a look at it for you mate, we have done a few of them in the past but will warn you once they have snapped there is a possability it will go again due weakness

have you got another jack to solder into it?
ive found that they vary quite a lot in size and shape (dosnt everything...lol) and have got a few here but will need to find them
