She wasnt too bad, disspointed but to drunk to care too much ;D
I have a feeling they will write the clio off, bonnet, grill, bumper and some plastic trims, His insurance company phoned me first thing this morning and they said they will get it all sorted within 2 weeks,
Not bothering claiming for the mini, its such small damage its not worth the risk of them writing it off when I can fix it myself.

That's very sad news about your cars It's about time they made snow tyres a legal requirement I'm starting to think. Stop this country coming to a standstill and idiots who think they can drive on ice crashing into things!

just spent well over an hr to travel 200yds, total nightmare as no 1 would let anyone out of any side streets or give way to any cars coming other direction + so everything czame to a complete stop + then everyone turns of their engines + get out of their cars just all looking at each other waiting for divine intervention or something ended up crawling up a hill sideways to get away from it

If all of the side roads are like garden village then seriously everyone be careful out there... the snow/ice/slush has all compacted down nicely into a perfectly smooth glassy pane...
I did the good old fashioned "I'll try and slide to see how slippery it is" test method and went a considerable distance....on foot....
I can imagine a lot people being caught off guard by driving along at 30mph on the main roads that are all clear then barrelling into a side road and ending up all shapes...
