Gutted With Jamie's car supposed to be picked up at the weekend it now has a nice big dent in the front wing Damn ice again !!!!!!!

Slid into another car Looks like I'll have to try and pull the worst out and wait till I can get a new wing fitted, I doubt if the new owner will still want it so looks like it will be around for a little longer

the roads are deadly, went out with a mate in his saxo vts yesterday, some side streets are just impossible, cant get a grip at all.

great news mate, hope they did'nt do stupid thing like right it off like the sons hyundai s coupe just for broken headlights + dented bonnet. but he had good deal aswell ;D

They gave me three choices, 1. Write it off and get £1100. 2. Have it repaired using 2nd hand bumper and bonnet, 3. £825 and keep the car, I obviously choose option 3 as we only paid £750 for the car in the first place

I did mate, I said in that case give me the £825 and i'll fit them myself lol, I've already sorted the bonnet tonight ( it only needed adjustment at the hinges and a touch up pen ) I'll leave the bumper as its hardly noticble and just need to get a bit of plastic trim from the scrappy ;D
Works out we have a free car and £75 in our pocket lol

as i said pretty much same as gavs, how the hell his had to have a vic test i will never understand with such little damage but as you said free car + money in his pocket the same

I think all the insurance firms in this country are corrupt, more so car insurers. Their rip-off Britain at it's worst.
