noticed we have 6 pages of non active members who have never posted anything + as we know there are a couple of people in there that we know under different names etc ( you know the 1's i mean )  . i know other clubs do as we done once before + cleared down all non active members + alot of clubs insist they post atleast 1 thing up even if it only to say hello when they join etc. whats everyones opinion  |

hmmmm I lurked on here a while before I made my first post ( like a month or so, to get the feel for the place) so not too sure.... depends when they were last active I guess?
Would certainly help the forum load faster!

i agree the ones that joined lets say upto 2 months ago should go and the ones after give them the chance to post just to see if they do

I know it would be a lot of hassle but might be worth sending out an email to everyone who is inactive to ask if they wana stay. If they reply then they can stay if not shows that they aren't too bothered really? would save deleting people unnecessarily.

was thinking of people who have been members for bout 6 months etc + not botherd to contribute to the club or post anything up just to speed this up on the site. if they not posted in 6 months they not gonna post anything in the future but that just my opinion see wa the boss phillipa says ;D |

yes! do it, keep it real, we all know each other, and im not against new members, but, we dont need the idiots that tryed to destroy the wedding day!  exactly wa i was thinking mate, keep it real on here |

We did start doing this after the first year so we could get a better idea of how many active members there were,(This was before we could see how many people were signing on each day) but it faded off and we didnt bother anymore, Think its a great idea and an email would be easy enough to sort out  |
