Yes the 10th Doctor (David Tennant) changed into the 11th (Matt Smith) last night and people are having nervous breakdowns all over the world. Seriously though it was sad seeing Tennant go, especially when he said 'No I Don't Want To Go/Change' or words to that effect. But my God the past 4/5 years have flown by and here's to the future, the present and the past with the new Doctor.

I think he should have changed in the radiation chamber if I'm honest, that way Wilfred could have interacted with the new doctor and we could have decided If he would suit it or not....
Im dubious...

Well we were dubious and didn't want Christopher Ecclestone to go, but David Tennant made the show his own, much like the great Tom Baker did.
As for the long goodbye, well it was David Tennant and producers Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner's final story and so they were just tying up all the loose ends and saying goodbye to their era.
But yes it was very sad when he went back to see Rose prior to actually meeting her.
Only time will tell (ironic I know) if the new boy is as effective. Pity though because Tennant was a fan and wanted to become Dr Who when he was a kiddie. Plus he knew everything about the show.
Eccleston preferred Star Trek and I've heard a rumour that the new boy never watched it either.

So Taffy! Who was the female time lord? Was it Dr Who's mother? It has been suggested it was Rose...but I dont think so

I've got no idea, but there's a big voting list on one of the Dr Who forums and over 40% think it was his mother.
Probably just Russell T Davies getting everyone debating over it now he's left.
