can any1 help as i have a momo steering wheel but no hub i have been looking and it looks like a MGF hub will fit how do i take the steering wheel off  step by step would b a great help  |

Disconnect the battery and wait about 15 mins. there are 2 screws behind the steering wheel, I think they are either torque or allen screws, remove these and take the air bag off, disconnect the wire to the air bag and put the air bag somewhere safe. Then take off the steering wheel as you would do normally. Be careful with the airbag as I've known these to go off if their dropped. You will also have to get a someone to plug it into a Rover computer to tell the ECU the airbag has been removed and to turn off the SRS light on the dash.

what will happen if i dont get it on a computer ?
is it just a light up or more?

I believe it's more to do with telling the SRS system there's no airbag so it compensates with the other restraints
