i forgot to put anti freeze in my mini in the garage when we had this 'big freeze' not so long ago.
undid the nuts on the back off the heater the other day and tilted it down and water started coming out off what i think is the seams of the heater? not the pipes as these were on really tight!
could the freeze have caused the heater to expand therefore now nafffed!

ur lucky we done similar on ruby + she popped core plug + split water pump in 2

dad said when he went out the pipes were crusty but not solid so think he caught it in time, but only noticed the heater y-day so think we were lucky as the rad is not leaking

yeah mine froze too but mine is fine very lucky

Just sounds like your heater matrix has started to leak/gone.
