the top engine stabiliser bolt has snapped in the block and someone has made a right mess tryin to drill it out.there is a second hole after that one that i could use but obviously the stabilising rod is too short.kad make an adjustable one but not sure if this will do the job.any ideas?or an alternative way?

could you not just try and tap a thread in the existing hole?
do you mean an 'ultimate engine steady' or do you meant the one on the drivers side at the back?

if its the one on the same side as the brake servo...there is a kit you can get that bolts onto the side of the engine and replaces the holes for the engine steady...and it works fine cause ive got it on medusa....
