hey guys ive just spotted that once the car is fixed and everything is back to normal and the stainless steel bumper is on the front ive got nowhere for the number plate to go any ideas do i need brackets

You should have 2 brackets underneath the lip that the bumper fixes to.
They should be roughly "L" shaped, spot welded to the front panel and have a hole in them to bolt the number plate backing holder to them.
