Surface Rust Removal on Small Items

I've tried the vinegar one it really does work , Never heard of the Citric Acid Powder one so will have to try that out soon

hope you dont mind me adding to this.. ive used another way, needs a little bit more work but it worked nicely for me, a bowl of warm soapy water, and a roll of tin foil.. scrumple the tin foil into balls, dip into the water and rub on said rusty item.. worked an absolute treat on my chrome mirrors and my mates exhaust tip

saw a simular thing useing foil but with coke on mythbusters. apparently it works better than chome cleaner
