we got a four wheel dyno in work, no good for testing performance of your engine buts work well for testing the performance of the cooling side or the air con of you car, van or small truck. does temperature,s from -20 to +40, plus you can have some wind blowing around as well, its the only wind tunnel in wales and is avaible for hire for a price of 4k per shift.

Is wilfords the place that actually files down the needles etc to suit? a flat rate of £60 sounds a bargain!

yes phil that where we took sooty before, it £65 flat rate + if needs any parts it obviousely extra, sooty going back there on fri as new head been fitted + timing way out. last time she went on rolling road it had 77bhp which is'nt bad. it is the place where file needle etc as think simon ( bigend ) had that done but don't know if done that to ours aswell as dropped car of + picked up later tidy guy + well worth the money

what they do altogether when you put your car on rolling road?

They normally give your car a dry run on the rollers first to see if there are any problems. IE, worn points, plugs, Dizzy, leads etc. Once that is sorted the timing etc is checked. Then the fuelling is checked throughout the Rev range. Once all that is done they then give it a Power Tune to make sure all the above are compatible with each other. You should come out of there with a far sweeter Mini to drive.

willfield motors will check head gasket compression before he even touches the car etc, no point doing anything too it if head gasket gone
