Hi all, just bought a mini after years of being into vespas and lambrettas, we picked it up during the week and I have spent a few hours sorting out the few little niggles and servicing the engine.
The car is fitted with spotlights which look alright, but don't work and i'm unsure how to wire them up, there is a single wire coming out of each one with a spade type connector, where do I need to connect these too and will I need to do anything else, as noticed that when you put on sidelights you can hear the effect it has on the battery.

you will need a relay that will wire into your main beam. you can get the wiring kit from minispares from memory, maybe even ebay..
then again some members with spots could have a look at the value of the wiring bits for you and you could make your own for cheaper from somewhere like maplins..
I know you can get the wiring kits for them online somewhere though.
