Thats the one I just found, without an mot I wouldnt touch it Ask the seller what he means by a decent price for him to put an mot on And if it's resonable go and have a look before putting a bid on, If your not sure try and get someone who knows what to look for to go with you

Hi,
I normally track minis and bits on eBay a lot and this one has been for sale for a while (over 6 months if I remember).
It originally had an MOT and did 'sell' then and since no MOT has been 'sold' a few times and recently not made reserve, still the same seller putting it back up though. I would handle with car and take someone who knows their minis.
£300 (very max) without MOT is right.

Is that a personal number plate? Either way being silver/black and a post 1972 Mini means it's illegal.
The crunchy 2nd gear sounds like it'll be needing gearbox attention soon.
Apart from that use a magnet on all the panels (especially the tops of the wings, scuttle, beneath the headlamps and of course the A' panels etc), to ensure their all steel and don't consist of filler, cardboard, newspaper or other such crap.
Oh and don't forget the underneath and the rear subframe.
If it is such a cracker, why doesn't the seller get it MOT'd?
So be very careful you don't buy a pile of troubles.
