got the car back on the road but it seems to have developed an annoying drone which resinates through the car to the point where ear plugs would be needed on a long run any ideas what this could be, have had a few thoughts like the exhaust touching the body somewhere at the manifold side, or rubber mountings i.e, tower rubbers . subframe rubbers , engine mountings anyone encounted a similar problem gareth

Same thing happens in mine from time to time, I checked everything , New insulation, new carpets, Only way to get rid of it is to not allow the wife in the car at the same time ;D ;D ;D

Standard or harder engine, subframe mounts. Too hard and the noise will really get on your nerves.
