Removing goodmans speaker pods

Hi guys, having slight dramas as i'm useless.

I'm wanting to remove the goodmans speaker pods off the rear shelf, and then possibly use the current wiring for 6x9's under the rear seat cushion.

I've had a quick look, but i can't trace the wiring at all. Does it go up through the headlining?

I know it does on the 94? onwards minis, You can sometimes access it though by removing the trim panel between the rear screen and rear window.

Ok cheers Phil. My Cooper is a 91, but i am certain that's the route it takes. I might just leave them wired in and just run new cables to the new speakers. Thanks mate!
