Something else far more important than the speakers that i missed out... I think my headlight switch is broken. I can select off and sidelights no problem, but when i try to flick it to headlights it won't do it. Questions, how do i remove the switch If i need to remove the switch panel, how do i do it? Is it actually the switch or something else? Switch panel is a 91 cooper, so it has the choke cable attached Sorry for being such a noob

i had the same problem and it was the switch that was broke, but i would check fuses etc to be safe,
you should be able to pop the switch out of the panel lever it out with something like knife but be careful not to scratch your switch panel once the switch has popped out you can pull it off the wires and then reattach a new one
simple!

If the switch is stuck and cant be put into the headlight position it can be taken apart, there is a roller inside which can sometimes come out of line, be carefull though as there is also a tiny spring that like to jump out when you strip it down if you can get hold of a replacement switch it is much easier.
