Dear Presidents of Mini Clubs & Mini Friends,
We are writing to you because we have a dream, the dream of hosting the 2012 IMM in Italy. For
this reason, Mini e Moto Maniaci, a club from Florence and Cooper Club Roma, the group that
last October hosted The Anniversary Year run with 200 minis from Italy and the UK, have created
the Mini Alliance a partnership between the two clubs from Florence and Rome that would put our
experiences, people and ideas together into a successful mix in order to produce an entertaining and
successful IMM.
Organizing the most important Mini event in Italy, the IMM, for Mini Alliance would mean
travelling throughout the Bel Paese, discovering our cultural heritage and incredible cities such as
Florence, Pistoia, Lucca and environs. On top of this, we can offer to all participants an amazing
location such as the likes of the Mugello circuit: the same race track used for Formula One
testing, mainly by Scuderia Ferrari, and the MotoGP circuit for the international races.
The track is long more than 5000 mt through the charming hills of Tuscany, where technology and
environment can live together in a perfect balance. The paddock area is composed of three different
areas: central area 26.000mq, medical centre area 7.000mq and the tv compound area
6.500mq. There is also a huge camping site, where participants would be stay with their Minis, and
a very well equipped restaurant area. And last but not least, together with the Mugello circuit the
Mini Alliance can also offer you, and all your friends, the atmosphere and the vibes of a real race,
without forgiving the real IMM philosophy: meeting new friends, sharing the Mini passion with
other people and spending a few days having so much fun!
This is the Mini Alliance’s dream, our dream. We’d like to host a 4 day event: with an economical
entrance ticket Mini people can meet, have fun and share their passion. We’ve been working on this
for ages and we believe that we are ready to host a very successful IMM. We just need your
support: if you like the Mini Alliance project, if you want to drive your Mini at the Mugello and
take a look to the incredibile Tuscany hills and environs, Vote for Us, Vote for the Mini Alliance
at the 2010 IMM in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz (21-24 May). See you in Germany!
