Have you got a copy of the 'Haynes Restoration Manual', worth a copy and seeing how it is done. You can than decide if you fancy doing it or passing it on to a pro....

£50 squid ain't too bad as its the time you are paying for umm just read the skin too !...that's cheap.....do we have any satisfied customers ?

You get what you pay for in this world, and £50 for a door skin isnt going to last more than a year simply because for that price its going to be a cheapy aftermarket panel that wont fit. I personally refuse to fit aftermarket doorskins as they are inferior parts and simply do not fit, they will certainly require filler to make smooth and when door is back on car, the door will look as if its not ligned up properly, i know this as i did some a few years ago and the customer was not happy despitie every attempt to make it fit. Genuine doorskin is around £55 and will NOT require filler and it WILL lign up, it will also last many more years than a £50 re-skin.
I do doorskins for £135 inc vat and thats for parts and labour, not as cheap i know, but you get what you pay for.

I think that is cheap... I think i got ripped off when mine were done, they charged nearer £200!!
