Heritage are the best to go for, but check out www.hadriancarpanels.comHaven't heard that bad a word about Hadrian and they advertise in MiniWorld. Only seem to do Classic's like Mini, Healey, MG, Minor, Early Escort, Corsair, Cortina, Jag E-Type, S-Type, XJS, Merc, Land Rover, Hillman Hunter, Triumph Spitfire etc, etc....

I think they're called the MINI DOOR COMPANY whom I've seen at many a Mini show. They can rebuild your doors for you, ie : new doorskins, bottoms etc. They also sell the doorskins & relevant repair bits.

Genuine door skins are £55 each and are well worth it becuase they fit. LMC Hadrian door skins are awefull and require lots of work to make fit properly simply becuase the lip around the edge is not formed properly and doesnt seal propelry onto door frame, then causing water gaps and more rust.

If your frame is good and straight then normally their a dodle, the hardest part is grinding the weld at the top of the skin onto the frame off tidy without marking frame.

For the sake of a couple of quid, you got to ask yourself is £15-£20 worth an extra good few hours work and a door skin which will require filler at the end of the job and only last a year, if that?
Genuine door skins are so much easier to fit, you can have a good bash at doing them yourself. Ill point you in the right direction if you want phil, you can also borrow the tool for folding the edge as well if you want.

I think that there is a bit of brazing where the doorskin meets the bottom of the window frames. BUT, don't quote me on that.
