I have, now the polo is on the road and out of the garage, and the mini is back on the agenda, I decided I wanted another project (long term) so purchased a 2002 Triumph daytona frame, an earlier daytona single sided swingarm, a Triumph street triple seat unit and subframe and a suzuki Hayabusa front end suspension /wheel setup. I have sourced a Suzuki TL1000 top yoke to fit the forks, a set of special bearings to accept a different front end, and a set of Triumph branded fat bars and risers which will all be anodised black. The frame, swingarm and seat subframe will be powder coated in metallic anthracite once I have modified the subframe to fit (need to get the frame extanded with a bit of tig welding). Then I will have a completed rolling chassis ready to accept a 2002 or later 955i engine (147bhp) which I still need to sourvce with ecu wiring looms, throttle bodies etc. So I still have a long way to go yet. Heres the pics.

Haha. It will be. Looking to build a streetfighter type bike, admittedly triumph build their own which is a speed triple but I just want the satisfaction that when people look at it they go woah thats a nice speed triple................whats different about it? May be able to achieve what I want a little cheaper as well by doing it myself.
It's not going to happen overnight but it will happen.
