Gwyn has been trying to get the bulldog going again as the mini is still in having his facelift.

Decided at 5.30 to ring halfrauds to see if they had a distributor cap, rang up, yes they had one. I said I'd go up & get it, what time did they close? Guy said "about 1/2 hour love we close at 6".

So I drove up spoke to a guy on the desk - explained i had phoned & spoken to someone & wanted a distributor cap for a 1973 morris marina.

Guy went to look for it came back & said "no", called another guy over explained - he said I think I know where it would be. Off they went, 1st guy came back after about 5 mins & said no.... it must've been stolen.

I said to him "stolen?!?...like pinched?!?"

He said "yes"

So forget about locking wheel nuts, we should be thinking of getting locking distributor caps!!! Especially for 1973 morris marinas!!! Who'd have thought?!

lol, I work for them, and I wont give opinions to save myself on what the companys like and how its run

i will say tho that youd be AMAZED what people try and do steal, dizzy caps are quite common (look in the box and find it empty)

	Any one can restore a classic but it takes a real man to cut one up

Nah - it was 5.55 on a saturday evening, I think they couldn't be "bottomed" to look for it, it wasn't where he was expecting to find it, so he just came back & said it had been stolen...cue me looking at him as if he was having a laugh!!! (I think he could tell I didn't believe him) so I took my time ringing my husband to explain & to ask if he still wanted the rotor arm, to make sure we were still there till at least 6pm. ;D ;D
