hi my back brake lights and signal lights have stopped working but when i put my hazard lights on . the signals work. i have changed the fused and connections. but it still doesn't work. does anyone now what could be wrong please??

It could be the fusebox itself. they are notorious for cause all sorts of problems.
short out the fuse connections with a length of wire (just to check obviously, don't leave it like that), if it still doesn't work it could be your fusebox.

just put the wire across where the fuse goes. may need someone to hold it in place while you go and check the back lights though. then again if youve started having problems with the fusebox it could just be worth replacing it. they arn't too expensive and all you have to do is make a note of the order of the wires, unscrew your fusebox, put the fuses into the new fusebox in the same order, screw in the new one and re-connect the wiring back up. some people say to put something on the the back of the new fusebox before refitting to stop the connection getting rusty (think it was grease or vaseline or something?)

as coedy has said fusebox probs are netoriouse on classic minis + alot of people re-route the fuse box so it can be fitted inside the vehicle to solve alot of problems i.e corrosion
