I've just read on another Forum that Taffy 1967 (Darryl) has passed away.. Uuum, i'm still in a state of shock but my heartfelt sympathies go out to his beloved wife Marie and his children. A very sad day indeed.

Hi, I hope you chaps don't mind me posting here?
I'm a Moderator on "The Mini Forum", Taffy1967 was a very well liked and respected member on our forum.
As a mark of respect we'd like to either send a wreath or make a donation in his name, whatever the familys wishes are?
Unfortunately I have no idea how to get any information regarding the funeral arrangements.
I was hoping that someone on here could help us out?
RIP Taffy, you'll be sorely missed

I'm sure I speak for myself and my father (and family) when I give our condolences and best wishes to taffys family, I never met him but he always came across as a very generous person when we spoke here. He was one of the best and most knowledgable members of the Mini community and was greatly respected. Again our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

I can't believe it... Condolences to his family at this difficult time Thanks Taffy for all the times you've helped me (and no doubt countless others) with our silly little electrical problems and answered our daft Mini related questions that no-one else had thought about. You'll be missed by everyone that has ever met you as well as the entire Mini community.

thankyou everyone for your kind words i sent phil a pm but hes obviously not on today. darryl went into hospital on wednesday after i found him unconcious . he came really well and was sitting up in bed in itu watching dr who. they tried all efforts but failed. i dont know when the funeral will be, but he would have liked a mini procession as he wasnt religious. if you would like to come i will leave details as soon as i know
thankyou marie

I wish to offer my condolences, I never personally knew Taffy, but had seen posts, in which he seemed a funny person who knew his minis inside out, RIP Taffy x

Lovely bloke, I'm really shocked by it. Met him a good few times and he was always such a wealth of information! Regards to Marie and his family. I'm going to put all else on hold to be in attendance at the mini procession, and I think it would be great to get as many people as we can on here to do the same. RIP Taffy, sorely missed by the whole community.

A real shame. Hope to get a good number of minis together for a procession.
RIP Taffy

I'm still in complete shock, I've known Daryl (taffy1967) for around 15 years. This Gentleman will be sorely missed by the mini and Sci-fi community. My deepest condolences to Marie and the children.
RIP my friend.
