I have been pondering alot today.
If I put 1.34" exhaust valves in a mini head will they need to be offsetted?
If not would 1.4 inlet and the having such big exhaust valves effect the performance?
cheers

I had a Longman head on my old rally mini and that had offset inlet valves. I think the sizes were 37mm inlets and 31 mm exhausts. Will cost you about £700 plus for one of those heads today. The concept of the offset valve was, by having more meat between the valves it would stop the valve seat cracking between the inlet and exhaust.

Yeah I looked into the sizes and 1.34" will be far far too big. apparenty 31MM is the biggest you can go. I am goingt o stick with Cooper S sizs I think that will be more than enough Cheers for the reply
