head will be a 12g940, not sure if there was an extra number to indicate it was the turbo head

the easiest way to tell if it genuine is to look at the valve stems, the exhaust valves on the turbo had a a bigger diameter stem that was sodium filled to draw heat away from the head of the valve where as the inlet is a normal valve

Any one can restore a classic but it takes a real man to cut one up
