A great day out again... ;D, congrats to jeff and the team for another great run.
Chatted to daniel and bexanne but didnt see anyone else from swm there...did spot pembs mini club as we crossed the start line though.
the run was longer this year and took in all of the lovely contryside as well as newgale and st davids.... we peeled off the convoy after tenby as had to get home to collect the little ones, will pop some pics up tomorrow (not too many because of the drizzle)
there was also some pics in the official program from last years run, a great pic of daniel`s car, irish and a nice group shot too. i`ll scan the pics in and put them up with the other pics

Glad everyone enjoyed! Forgot this was today!
Really enjoyed the last one I went to but its a helllll of a days driving and I was shattered after it.
Looking forward to the pics! ;D

Had a great day.. but yeah.. very tiring! Tagged along with Pembs Mini's.. was great seeing peoples faces as we went past in convoy! even in the pouring rain there we people sitting outside with their brollies waving at us going past!
Will get some pix up as soon as I can get them!

Hello everyone! ... Our very grateful thanks to you all for your very kind comments and we are delighted you had a great day ... Sorry for a bit of a grid lock situation at the Start Line .. it was very much Trial and Error this year due to our new venue .. but what a sight it must have been from the air! Biggest problem was the fact that 6 of the marshals failed to arrive .. leaving just 4 lad's to cope with it all ... We will let you all know the outcome of the debriefing we will be having .. but we think we will have a far better enterance to the Showground for 2011 and perhaps a shorter route with an alternative for the older vehicles ... Once again thanks for everything .. we are looking forward to seeing the pic's and remember we hope our new website www.pembrokeshirecountyrun.com will be on-line very soon ... Thanks for organising the event Jeff, really enjoyed it. The 4 marshals did well considering 6 failed to turn up. Nice to see all the minis there. Got a few pictures i'll upload them when i get time.  |

Psychoticfox! you nearly caught the near writing off of my mini in your pic by newgale bridge there!
Car pulled out of the car park opposite the cafe .. had two inches to spare! Didn't realise my mini had such good brakes!

Many thanks to you all for taking part on our 2010 Run ... This year's Run was very much Trial and Error due to both our new Start and Finish Lines ... along with our new extended route ... We will be making changes to our 2011 Run which we hope will make it even more enjoyable for you all.

Hello everyone ... Sorry for my absence for such a long time ... sadly this was due to more health and PC problems!
Time is just flying .... and just to remind you all that the Pembrokeshire County Run 2011 will be taking place on Sunday 4th September ... Also due to the soaring cost of fuel, we are going to shorten the route by about 12-15 miles this year ... ALSO give everyone an alternative even shorter route!
Entry for this event is still FREE ... with us still helping the British Heart Foundation with the sale of programmes ... Hello everyone .... In addition to our annual Pembrokeshire County Run .... we are also orgaining the Preseli Bluestone Run this year to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in its 50th anniversary year.
The Preseli Bluestone Run will take place on Sunday 12th June and both Start and Finish at Bluestone Wales (adjacent to Oakwood) This will be a motoring tour of about 55 miles over our beatiful Preseli Hills .. famous for its Preseli Bluestone of Stonehenge fame ... everyone will also have the novelty of driving trough villages such as BETHELEM and WOODSTOCK! ... After crossing over the hills the route will then follow a motoring tour of the beautiful Bluestone countryside at the foot of the hills.
Due to this being in aid of the BHF there will be an entry charge of just £5 to enter .. with all enteries receiving a Preseli Bluestone rally board and a BHF certificate ... Bluestone will also be offering discount deals for enteries wishing to use their Blue Lagoon and Spa ... the village will also be open for enteries to visit!
