Are the windscreen seals suppose to be in one piece or split.
having problems with minisport seals ?(Non genuine) really REALLY tight fit, so tight the windscreen broke as we were putting it in.
Anybody else have this problem, or is a one off? and also what do people do in regards to installing, does the string trick work, or is there another method,
Thanks all Leanne

That's unfortunate, breaking the screen. I usually put the seal onto the screen first, then fit the seal (including screen) onto the lower edge of the windscreen aperature (just above the dash). I try to push / slide the screen and rubber into either of the bottom corners and then slowly feed the rest of the seal over the lip from inside the car with a piece of (strong) bent wire. Very agricultural i know, but it works. It helps to apply a smear of Fairy liquid or similar on the rubber which helps the rubber slide over the lip easier. And yes, I have broken a screen before now, but that was 30 years ago.

i do the same as dai, have yet to break one. im sure i will at some point.
seal is one peace and should not be cut. seal should be a lose on the screen. the string meathod is only really an option on the rear quarter windows
