thanks coedy...shes not bad for a 38 year old girl...(wish my bodywork was in as good condition...pmsl)....
ive only seen her properly today and although she needs a bit of cosmetic work shes pretty solid....

 Looks good Ju, Tartan Red I'm guessing. Rostyle wheels, recessed grille, K Reg, Overdrive? If you can imagine that car as a Roadster, without the roof, with a cream interior and only 2 seat, then thats exactly what I have got.

yep, its got overdrive on it....havent found the colour code yet..and the wheels have had a recent refurb....
for a laugh I tried out the rear seats....even with my lack of height i had problems....guess they are only ok for adding extra boot space...lol

There is a "Shelf" behind my 2 seats as well but no way could you call it a seat! In the sales bumff of the 70's It classes the BGT as a 4 seater and the Roadster as a 2+2 !!!!! Have you found the battery(s) yet  |

not yet...under the boot floor..one each side as far as i remember...but theres a few big cobwebs down the sides of the boot...so my little piggys arnt going down there till its sprayed with raid!!!!

I did a mod to a single battery fitted in the boot as replacement 6v batteries are a touch expensive  and where they are underneath the car is just asking for future lectrickery trouble. The Fuel pump is down there too and thats another common problem. Another popular mod is to replace the SU Fuel pump with a modern day solid state pump for reliability. Electronic ignition is another good upgrade too, and some decent halogen headlamps, the sealed beams are like candles !!! |

i`m no too sure if the lamps have been done....byron followed me home on sat night and the lights seemed very bright....
great tips on the mods....not going to do too much to her yet but as the bits fail (and they surely will) i`ll get him to do some upgrades....she`ll be having a service very soon so will see how the lekis and stuff look then

The Rubber Bumper models were never as popular as the Chrome Bumper ones and many Rubber Bumper cars have now been converted back to Chrome Bumpers.
Not heard of any being converted the other way yet !
Never liked the "Deckchair" fabric seats either.
Got to be vinyl or leather for the proper "Classic" look
