Mine is due for renewal, can anyone recommend a good Modified mini insurance company. AVIVA (who I'm with at the mo) just quoted me silly money for NO mods  Just sent for a quote from Adrian Flux and CVI. |

im with adrian flux and got quite a good price for mine, and thats valued for i think £15000, (without checking my cert)

i been with HIC for a few years, their pretty good and are adrian flux's sister company which means neither will beat the others quote

pd james was far cheaper when we got our quotes, didnt penalise you at all with body mods etc + only seemed interested if any engine mods. we listed about 20 mods with medusa including wheels, flip front etc + was alot cheaper as i said above. give em a try + you never know lol ;D

if you join british mini club they will value your car off photos i think it cost us a fiver - dunno if they do it for non members too? we had to join bmc to get an agreed value insurance cos our car was too young :-D

try the aa classic insurance costs me £120 a year i am 40 odd had to send in loads of photos and they wernt keen on my archs so i changed them i had an agreed value of £8000. - vb

I use P D James for the Classic Insurance for the MGB and they are excellent.
Can't really say how they are with "Modified" Insurances tho.
