Right........im replacing the front scuttle, the n/s wing, possibly the o/s wing, and the rear valance.
Can you get away with non-genuine for any of these or shall i just except the fact that i got to fork out for the heritage ones?
Also are the Hadrian panels any good?
Thanks

Hadrian panels are the next best to Genuine ones. Genuine ones cost more because it will cost less labour time to fit them.
When my Mini had its Scuttle changed we bought a pattern panel for it.. it was about 3 inches too big... we ended up having to just buy a genuine one because the fit was so god awful on the knock off one.. We used the knock off to repair the scuttle closure panels (waste not want not)
If I'd have known it was going to be that far out we would have gotten a genuine one straight off.
So I vote genuine.

ie il definaltley go genuine with the scuttle for that very reason. But the difference in price with the wings is like £25 for Hadrain wings on ebay instead of £70 for genuine on mini spares!!!
By the way there are 3 minis in pick up spares swansea for breaking! An early 90s cooper and two slightly older mayfairs. I bought the doors and boot of the cooper today but theres still a lot there. Just thought it would be worth mentioning

Someone in the know once told me this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, You can usually get away with using non genuine wings if you still have the original front panel fitted and vice versa. The non original front panel i used on one job must have been really cr#p because even with original wings it was a pig to fit, but got there in the end.

The wings on mine (I think from memory) are hadrians and the guy who did the work for me didnt say he had a hell of a job with them so guessing those went on ok? (I'll go have a nose at pickup spares once I fit my new radiator )

Always go "Genuine" if you can. (cost permitting of course) Why faff about with something that doesn't fit. It just adds time and effort and may end up looking wrong anyway.
