How hard would it be to swap from the dash I have now to a centre speedo? Wouldnt I need to buy in some of that card stuff to hide the wires etc?

Not a difficult job. Will you be using the early centre speedo and 2 ickle clocks type set up.? You will need one of those loom adaptors to connect to the centre clock set up, NOT CHEAP. at £35 a pop. You could make your own and I have seen the proper connectors on ebay for a few £s. You will need new dash cards to hide all the gubbins though.

Hey, I did this when i had a mini, spent a bit of time looking over on the mini forum, i found and contributed to this thread after i'd done mine www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=114473You'll need the pod, ideally with the dials in (or you can do what M2I did and get hold of other dails) a loom, and dash liners to make good and hide all the pipes etc. There are a couple of diagrams in the thread that gives detalis of the wiring, take a look.
