First thing, I apologise for the lack of photos. The battery on the camera went flat before we got to the action.....
So, I have to say this was a great show for kids and adults alike. If you're a petrol head you will not be disapointed.
It all kicked off in typical american, loud man on the microphone stylee with an introduction to the performers but nothing will prepare you for the onslaught that a dozen un-restricted V8's can produce, It was truely defening. So much so that I recommend ear deffenders to peeps going next year.
The trucks were all that you could imagine. Big power, big leaps, big action and all played for the benefit of the spectators.
Additional action was supplied by the moto-crossers and the grasstrackers. Edaf was awesome coming second in an action packed race that saw at least 4 cars retiring due to collision. It looked serious stuff out there, the competitive spirt of all involved was obvious.
I tried to see Edaf in the pit pass party prior to the racing but he wasn't around. Maybe we'll see him next time.
