Welder Mask ?

Ok welder sorted , now what mask to buy and confused as so many diffrent ones, which ones do folks on here use

i have a automatic one so u can see when not welding then when u weld it darkens i think them are the best

same here i have a auto dark one, its simply the best bit of kit i have, i would not even think of welding with a normal one now

there are a load of similar priced ones around and from what i can see is their all the same mask just with different branding

edit: just noticed the one i got has been discontinued and there are 2 others on sale at machine mart now. the flame painted one looks good but after a few sessions welding under the car its gonna be burnt to hell

Yeah Auto Dark is the way forward, My old man used to use the handheld ones, don't know how he managed, and glove-less, but he was old school

I can't beleive how I managed to weld with one of the hand held masks for all those years.
Auto darkening masks are a godsend.

ooks like its the same as mine just a diffrent sticker. as long as it meets the right safety standards then i say give it a go

I have an auto dark one from ebay, simply outstanding for less than 30 quid.
