So, today my friend went into the back of the Pini as he wasn't even looking forward when I slowed for a speed bump and dented about 30cm of the back bumper and the boot has a nice dent in it too. Was wondering if anyone has an idea of how much it's gonna cost to replace both and spray the boot, and if anyone has either one laying round that I could buy off them. (It's ok, he's paying for the repairs...) Thanks boyos!

Tried pushing out the boot dent? Provided it's not under where the frame is it should pop out if its not creased. That would mean it will just need a little filler and a quick blast over.

It won't pop out 'cause all the metal inside stuff is blocking me from getting anywhere near it. I'll take some pics tomorrow probably.

Sam!!!!! What are you doing to "Pinkish" You should be able to pick up a brand new bumper at any of the shows for £15 ish. Unless you can get a really good 2nd hand one, is it worth it The bootlid is the bigger problem! Try to get a reasonable 2nd hand one and have a "Pinkish" paint job is probably best, as long as the "Pinkish" is the same shade of "Pink"!!! Any Red based paint colour can sometimes give you matching problems when respraying individual panels! Hope you punched your "mate" on his nose at the time ;D

I didn't mean to I promise! Was his fault, no I was really calm surprisingly... Well, I think it's worth getting a new bumper 'cause it does look very "rat" now haha, I think the other boy on here with a "pinkish" 35 Mini has the code for our paint, I'll ask him what the code is and hopefully I won't have too many problems. I just wish he had smashed up both of my wings, they could do with replacement anyway...

Right, if I get anything wrong in this description... you're allowed to laugh. Went to CoopDog's to try to fit it, but I need the 3 flow manifold as I've only got the standard one right now with the downpipe and stuff, so that's more money and even more frustratingly more waiting. Can someone point me out what bits I'll need to convert it? Apparently I'll need a gasket too (I dunno what this mumbo jumbo means)... THANKS BOYOS.
