cant say im a huge fan of the Beatles but radio1+2 did a couple of documentary's on them a few years ago to celebrate the anniversary of the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. as part of it they had a few modern bands and took them to abby road to re-record the album on the old equipment (4 track) sadly they haven't released the album  but from what i heard i liked it. there's more on youtube if any one is interested pretty sure theres a few interviews with the studio people who came back as well to record the tracks |

Ahh not much of a Beatles fan myself.. I do honestly think they were overrated, along with Elvis, Just like these days people like Lady Ga Ga are overrated.. Althoughh I like this song, whats it called? Must of taken ages to make though..

i agree elvis was overrated and the beatless where somewhat but the beatles poured out amazing tunes where as elvis not so much in my reckoning think cash and other where a million times better than him.........
but was still a million times better than the c**p coming out today

I suppose the thing is everyone's music taste is different, Im into a bit of everything, from Hard Style, Bhangra, Classic Rock to Heavy Metal, mainly just depends on my mood. Although no guitarist comes better than Ritchie Blackmore, And no singer better than Dio.. That is all, but I do like this song, good shout Am' you might of converted one..

haa, some of my friends got the artic monkeys on vinyl and the beatles and they've never listened to a record playing and aint heard the vinyls they got :L

Actually I may give this a go, just plug the turntable into my stereo.. There are hundreds of vinyls in the office from when my old man was a lad, just the sleeve to Don't Fear The Reaper still creeps me out aha

I'm old enough to have had vinyl the 1st time round  (No! Not 78's before someone else says it !!!!!! ;D) Now I just listen to CD's or MP3's. Havent put any vinyl on for a long time tho. Perhaps I should go dig some out.  |
