Some advice needed peeps... ;D
Ruby being bad again, ive got a faint battery light on that gets brighter when using lights, heater ect....but will dim again if revs rise.
changed the battery, alternator, fuse box, checked earths, made sure fan belt is tight, and the wiring from the alternator seems fine....but still this faint glow on the dash...
any ideas before i pull the thing appart and burn it...lol...
not too sure if its connected to the problem but i`m loosing side lights every now and again, (`im guessing a dodgy wire/ fuse somewhere) but even when they are working the dash light is still on...and its happening on different circuits too, not just the constant live...grrrrrrrrrrr

we`ve been quite liberal with the wd40 over the past few days....and the fuse box has been changed (for a good un off byrons cabrio...shhhhhh)....it was cleaned up before use too....
i know the alternator was good too...guess where it came from...lol...
the bit behind the fuse box is in great condition.....the connections on the battery look fine (about a year old) and battery is a good un....
i`m not liking minis at the moment....lol

Once again...jackdaaw to the rescue...lol...
finally braved the cold earlier and had a look at the starter motor wiring and sure enough that was the problem....one of the lives had shered off the connector....
a new connector and shes running fine, while I was there a front indicator got sorted and also the sidelights...so all in all a productive morning (but god it was cold!!!)
if we head to bingley tomoz i`ve got more to spend on xtras and not parts...lol..
thanks again jackdaw...
