Take a look at my local (quality) tinting firm. www.stripemaster.co.uk/tint%201.htmor get a spray bottle filled with warm water and add two drops of fairy liquid, spray both the window and film with the mixture. Apply the film and move into position, with lets say a credit card working from the centre side to side and then up and down push the air and water out. Now with her in doors is hair dryer repeat the above with the credit card until all the air and water is removed (note the film will shrink a little). Now trim the excess film for a perfect fit. Repeat all the next four windows.

Funny thing with the LAW, you can have your vehicle passed by a PROPER MOT station and drive out on to the public highway and get done. Even more so with a Mini, you could have 6" wheel and standard rover spec arches where the tyre sticks out more than the arch and pass an MOT. This of course will get you done big time. Window tinting is the same. BUT, if the front door glass is left clear or very lightly tinted and the rest done 'Limo' black the law if 100% fine with this. So much so that major manufactures are producing top line cars in this fashion, Mercedes to name just one. Ok back to my drink!!!! Over and OUT......

the law is only like that, due to the fact that it makes the police's job alot easier, than pulling u over to see who is actually driving some ppl i know have had their front tints for yrs and never had a prob (also passed via mot) and now they been having hassle about the tints off the local police (i suppose the locals aint got their rating for the month)
