Im unsure whether its worth keeping them or not, how are they for rear passenges? I dont think there'd be much room with me being 6ft tall so needing the seat right back, Im highly tempted to just sling some buckets & harnesses in and twin subs on the rear bench? Thoughts please people of the Mini community

Thats what Im thinking, not just that, a sub in the boot may crack my filler and with no rear seats, I can lower my bum

All my mates are 6ft and im about the same. Ive had 3 mates in the mini previously and it was fine (except my wheel wheels rubbing a little).
Dont get me wrong, it looked hilarious... but it worked.

Yeah I've had a car full many times in mine, have had a 6"4 chap in the back too lol. I will say its very undignified for the ladies fall out your mini from the back whilst getting out haha, usually flashing their nether regions

I even went to the bother of having the rear seats recovered in leather with leather fitted head rests (for show only!) in my Mini Since then the only person to have ever sat in the back of the car has been me, while working on something back there or cleaning the windows inside. The rest of the time the rear seat has just been a glorified parcel shelf You do whatever feels right for you then you live with it. There is no "Right" or "Wrong". Just personal choice

with my old seats they where bolted down so the only way into the back was to climb over them so no one ever went in the back, i think with the cooper the back seat was used once or twice but now with the flame back on the road it doesnt have any rear seats at all.

What my other thought is, slightly off topic, but I am unlikely to wear my seatbelt, problem numero uno, If I crash, I'm screwed, problem numero two, its also a £60 fine and an excuse for the rozza's to give you a pull.. Whereas I would wear harnesses as they are considered cooler than seatbelts if you get where Im coming from?
