Wow, so BMW have finally realised that having the cars name as 'MINI' and having it bigger than a 'Fiat Punto GRANDE' is a bit ironic! Finally!

That is by far the ugliest looking new Mini they have done though.. after seeing the 4x4 one that is really saying something...
If they made it the 'MINI One' shape (no daft rectangular headlights and sticky outy grille) in that size I think I would stop complaining actually. Its the closest they will be able to get to the Real Mini in todays world of Ncap ratings and all that jazz.

That Cherry Red Mk ! in the pic is a Danish export model, the Mini Mascot.
It was on display at Gaydon where the previous owner worked.
It is now owned by the Bavarian motor works.
Looks as if they bought it to use as a template to try and reproduce a New bini that looks something like the original.
Got a long way to go haven't they.
