Right A is going back on, just with some new mesh.. Only problem is that my starter motor gets in the way and pushes the mesh out.. which I dont want.. I want it as flat as an ironing board..   See where its protruding.. How can I solve this issue people? Also sorted my door handle as well now, thank god!  How he stands now.. |

I had that problem with the starter motor once when I fitted a Metro starter motor - the positioning of the solonoid bit is slightly different to a Mini starter motor. You have 2 options that I can see.......... 1. Cut a hole in the mesh or 2. Change the starter motor! Neither are a good solution I'm afraid.  |

Took door handles back off cos, drivers one doesnt lock, so swapped them over and welded the passenger one so it doesnt open, but drivers one does & locks, put them back on tomoro now.. bloody potch.. and yeah thats where the idea came from, my mini eating a certain blue c2

Starter is because the mesh is on the inside panel, with a normal grill it sits on the outside and provides clearance. My fg front was the same

I think I may get away with a slight bulge If I can get the thick wire out of the way, think its the main positive..
