Not sure if a thread about this has already been made, but the search function doesn't work and I'd be interested to hear what your Minis do to the gallon.
I'm waiting for my tank to run empty to work mine out but I think it's somewhere between 20 and 25. How bad is that in comparison to yours?

Just sign up the the website. save a bookmark on your phone. run the tank as empty as you dare (I use the float clanging about as my alarm). then fill it up as much as you normally would. ask for a receipt. Then get away from the pump (they will shout if you mess with your phone near one ) open the bookmark, sign in, type in the mileage, type in how many liters youve put in and how much it costs per liter if you can be arsed. Then when you need to fill it up again (when its emptyish again) just type in the new mileage, etc, and it will work out your MPG and stuff! ;D if you ever need to do a quick top up (before a mini show etc, not filling up from empty) just tick the box saying "not a full fill up" or something like that, otherwise it messes with your results. Job dones! ;D no maths involved.

Anybody got an idea of what converting a Mini to LPG would cost? Coedy, I might give that a go, although I think I'd probably either be in a rush or just forget to update it, haha.

As hunt said, about a grand probably. main problem is you wouldn't be able to get a big enough tank in the mini to make it worthwhile.. (if you forget to fill in the details and remember when you get home either fill in the details once you get home if you remember the liters or click "I forgot a fill up" or whatever its called.)

Could always put the tank on your rear bench, ofcourse losing the ability to have rear passengers

true, but that wont really look that nice...lol... speaking of not nice I think you will need one of those gas stickers for the back of the car.
And how much would a lpg tank and gumph weigh? Remember that Mini's only weigh as much as a crisp packet so sticking a huge heavy tank in them will probably mean using more fuel to get them going anyway =/

Good points boyos. Fair enough, gotta explore the possibilities ain't you... Jack, she's going pinkish/black now. Hopefully I'll feel like more of a man. And my MPG will drop since I'll have to drive like a chav as of a black bonnet.

I used to find with my mpi that I could get to milton keynes on around half a tank granted I drove very sensible and that was from cardiff gate when it had warmed up but if I drove it quickly on the motorway it would use well over a tanks worth lol. the 50mph section in newport helps fuel economy but thats about it i find
