Hey all haven't long had my mini and just finished a load of work to make the mot man happy, got my driving test at end of month so hopefully it Will b on the road soon, I'm from swansea and waz wondering if there are any meets in my area ? ?
Also dose anybody have a set of rear high lows they are looking to sell?

Hey, welcome to the club.
There is a big show in singleton park in may, a big event in landore in june, an awesome mini run in Cardiff in august I think. Plus a few runs and meets organised by members and the occasional jaunt across the border into England-land. =pp

do u know what date in may id love to pass my test that i have on friday the 6th and take the mini down there, ooooohhh i cant wait to get my mini opn the road il upload a few pics for u guys when i get home , got something a little special about my mini to show u  gav |

Its on the bank holiday Monday 3rd I think? Get your name down in the event topic asap though so you'll definately have a space just in case. (If you don't pass by then maybe your parents could drive you down in it? Will still get to meet everyone then ) Good luck with your test by the way! |

it has a nippy little 1 liter auto engine atm but im looking for a bigger engine but not sure what to go for

ahh tidy i got a 998 too got a stage one on it too:D
but cant go wrong with a 1275 i guess but the coolest thing in my opinion you can put in there is a 1380 road/rally prep

yeah i like the look of the 90 bhp 1293cc that mini sport sell , it says carb engine ready to fit for 1.400 quid , sounds quite reasonable to me , has anybody had experiance with engines from mini sport  ? cheers gav |

just had my holos deliverd by custard , great service to the door haha , so do i need to take the fuel tank out and get to the other damper mount or is there another way ?

rightyow , il have a browse in the haynes on taking that out and post a pic of the car with the rear lowerd i think it will make it look much nicer iif its hugging the arches rather than being like 4 inches away lol

Ahh I seen this Mini in the For Sale section? Is it the same one?
Funnily enough my Mini has a 1340 engine, it was in one of the Mini Mags rolling road shoot out things and produced 93 bhp. It will keep up with a Saxo VTR until 70 on acceleration, but doing 70 on the bends you'll kill the Saxo (and yourself if your not careful). A guy told me his 1330 in his estate will beat a BMW 520D.
