only happened today! shes fine while shell driving but assson as you slow to a junctions she looses the revs and cuts out, same when i turn her over she starts but then looses them she also wont idle again looses the revs
hope it makes sense
something eltrical or mechanical??

Could it be the vacuum pipe from the dizzy to the carb? Other than that I'd say its a coil issue?

Might be down to a few things. Check the level of damping oil in the carb dashpot. May well be the coil on the way out, although they normally either work or dont !!! Have you tried picking up the tickover revs by turning the tickover revs screw on the carb

Had the exact thing happen recently. Turned out to be a worn and sticking suction chamber and piston in the carb.

check its not over fuelling mate i had the same problem when i baught my mini and turned out the needle in the float bowl was stuck open, when not reved it would die and spew loads of petrol out of the overflow pipe. It I took off the float bown unblocked the needle with a sharp blow and whhhhhhaaaalaaaa she ran like a dream ,

think it was a mixture tbh fiddled bout with the idle screw was running a bit lean aswell , so dun that redun the timming was out abit and also the vacum pipe thing from the servo wasnt sealing propberly when pushed tight she ran better so re-sealed that too
dunno if it would do anything but shes runngin much better now:)
the old mans re-conniing a card now so will replace the one on it now asit a lil tired
